My Online  Counselling and Facilitation Services

01.

Individual Counseling is aimed at helping you to cope with stresses that can cause anxiety and depression, it’s about helping you to heal from the negative things that have happen in everyday life, such as losses, separation, divorce, family conflict, violence or abuse.

Individual counselling includes career counseling, dealing with grief after a loved one dies or dealing with problems at a job or at home before they become unbearable.

Individual counselling is a one-on-one discussion between the counsellor and the client and forming a bond that enables trust and personal growth.

Counseling allows individuals to explore their feelings, beliefs, and behaviors, work through challenging or influential memories, identify aspects of their lives that they would like to change, better understand themselves and others, set personal goals, and work toward desired change.

Online Hypnotherapy combines psychotherapy and clinical hypnotherapy techniques. Though conducted online, it is as effective as a session in the clinic.

We all need times where we can relax, reflect and consolidate our feelings and work on solutions. Hypnotherapy combines discussions, followed by trance work so that the ideas and solutions can then be utilised by the brain for positive benefits.

In an online session we focus on the positive changes that are most important to you without dwelling on past problems.

A solution focused approach helps you move forwards and create positive change in a relatively short period of time.

We all experience low moods, but if it is causing you to lose interest in life, you are unable to do things  that you used to enjoy, then it may be a sign that you’re experiencing depression.

Depression doesn’t stop you leading a normal life but makes everything an effort. It can leave you feeling like you are stuck under a dark cloud causing you to put life on hold and withdraw.

The first step to feeling better is to understand the underlying causes of depression and work through them with the help of a trained and experienced life counsellor. I also help you develop coping strategies to manage your symptoms better.

Anger usually happens as a result of feeling frustrated, of feeling attacked. Failing to manage anger effectively can affect your relationships, your work or even your self-esteem.

Long term anger can lead to further mental and physical health problems.

Counselling and Hypnotherapy techniques when used together help you respond to volatile situations in a more beneficial way. Using guided imagery and relaxation techniques helps to build positive behavioral patterns increasing your confidence.

Stress is something we all face. It comes in many forms and differs across contexts and situations.

Stress can happen due to work-related situations or financial stress, some social problems, maybe sudden life changes or internal experiences.

Our hectic schedules along with several life responsibilities greatly contribute to stress and it is important to know the ways that could help us deal with these stressful conditions.

A therapist seeks to understand the client's feelings and gets to the root of the problem.

Together we find ways to deal with stressful situations.

Trauma is a specific type of stress that reflects exposure to emotionally distressing events that can result in anxiety disorders like PTSD. Hypnotherapy, coupled with EMDR in particular, is thought to be an effective way to process troublesome memories of trauma. Trauma can cause a person to disconnect from their own internal sense of safety.

Past life regression is a technique that attempts to use hypnosis in order to recover memories from previous lives. Some mental health issues that patients experience may have their origins in traumatic experiences of past lives. Thus, through hypnosis, practitioners take the patients back in time or regression.

This regression could be to periods of their infancy, but could  also be to periods of their gestational development, or periods before they were born with their current body.

Past life regression therapy, therefore, assumes the reality of reincarnation.

Mainstream psychiatry has traditionally rejected this assumption. However, some high profile practitioners in the field have upheld past life regression therapy, and actually incorporate it in their medical practice as a therapeutic technique. Perhaps the most prominent promoter of this therapeutic approach is psychiatrist Dr. Brian Weiss.

Dr. Weiss has recommended hypnosis for patients, in order to overcome phobias.
